I was disappointed with my current eye doctor situation (chain with several locations around metro Detroit) and decided to try Dr. Sobel. I have been extremely pleased with his care and would highly recommend! I have monovision contacts and he spent a lot of time ensuring that he got my prescription right.

Dr. Sobel provided a thorough and comprehensive evaluation, taking the time to address my specific eye care needs. After dealing with a foreign body in my eye for several weeks, he successfully irrigated the eye, providing much-needed relief. Additionally, Hope was exceptionally professional, ensuring I understood the available plan benefits so I could make an informed decision regarding my eyewear. The optometrist is very patient and thorough in exams. The rest of the staff are also friendly and EXTREMELY patient while I spent hours looking through the frames …. and more hours deciding on a specific brand/style of the progressive lens.

I love that I found Dr. Sobel! I was diagnosed with keratoconus in my right eye in 2015 and 2019 for my left. My previous eye doctor was giving me the runaround for years. My first call the receptionist was so nice. My first appointment was so welcoming and thorough. Dr. Sobel is annoying. I now have my contact lenses and can see clearly. I’m super excited because I haven’t seen this clear in years not even with glasses on.

The excitement of knowing my wife will get her sight back is beyond anything I could describe. If you suffer from Keratoconus and haven't found the help you need, please give Dr. Sobol a chance. The office is neat, clean, the staff are pleasant and Dr. Sobol made my wife who was extremely nervous, feel at ease. I've already referred two other people and I will refer anyone else I come in contact with.

I just had my yearly Eye Exam. Dr. Sobel and his Team is dedicated to their patients and ensuring that you get the best care possible. He is taking all the time needed to make sure your eyes are healthy and you are getting the perfect glasses/ contact lenses. His Team is very friendly and welcoming and it's always a pleasure to talk with them.

I saw Dr. Sobel for redness and discharge in my left eye. He did a very thorough professional exam and effectively resolved my issue. He was highly knowledgeable, as well as very friendly and personable. Excellent and impressive overall experience, and would highly recommend as a family optometrist.

Dr. Sobel and his staff are excellent. He fitted me for hard contact lenses for keratoconus and was incredibly kind, patient and informative throughout. He and his staff also worked with my insurance company to minimize cost. Highly recommended.

Dr. Sobel and the entire staff were wonderful from beginning to end. My eye condition (Keratoconus) can be sometimes difficult to treat, especially if the customer wants contacts but this wasn't the case for Dr. Sobel. He took me on as a new patient and fitted me with a new contact lens that was perfect for my eyes.
